Games engines vs Animation

As much as i would love to create a small working demo, i think this year i will have to cut down on my ideas and just focus on the animation aspect. Unless there is somehow extra time, or a quicker way to import things into an engine, I don't think a game demo will be likely.

Research

 I said I wouldn't do this, but I have spent the past 3-4 hours researching game engines. Unity 3D looks great as it has loads of resources and the engine looks easy to work with.
